Annual Reassessment of Minimum Wages in Domestic Work
The article in question of the National Collective Agreement for Domestic Work establishes that the minimum wages for workers in the sector are defined in the tables attached to the contract (A, B, C, D, E, G, H, I, L) and provides for their annual reassessment.
This updating mechanism ensures that wages reflect economic changes and the cost of living, guaranteeing domestic workers fair compensation for their work.
The reassessment is carried out following the procedures detailed in the following article (38), which defines the criteria and methods of adjustment, demonstrating the commitment of the social partners to maintain fair and rewarding working conditions in the domestic sector.
Art.35 Minimum Wage
1. The minimum wages are set in tables A, B, C, D, E, G, H, I, and L attached to this contract and are re-evaluated annually according to the following art. 38.
